So much for writing more in my blog this year...oops. It's a very busy time for us though. Mum is coming to the end of her studies and has been on the Big Job Hunt. It's not so much fun as squirrel hunting apparently. Anyway apparently it is all over now and she has found a fab place where not only are animals treated alongside humans already, but there's even a chance that I can go to work with her! This is good news. Only trouble is that i'm a little on the, ahem, vocal side when I hear people arriving at home. And barking noisily at work is Not An Option.
Soo - any tips to dampen down my protective instincts a bit?

dearest Charlie - we are VERY happy and relieved for your mum - sounds a FAB job. Well - you asked about protective barking - regirls wonder if you will feel the need in or around somebody else's house? We woof a LOT here at home to keep mum up to date with visitor comings and goings (we stop tho once she tells us how clever we are) but when we redgirls are "out and about" in other peoples houses we do not feel as though reception duties are OUR job. The other thing about NOT AN OPTION is that you'll know she means it. We call it "mum's grumpy body look" Usually she is pretty much a pushover but (imagine this!)we are "NOT ALLOWED" to be pests when the B&Bs are around. Redgirls think you will be fine!XXXX
Hrm I think you may be right Redgirls - although I'm a quick learner so soon get to feel like i'm at home :-)
