Along came a spider...

...but he didn't last long cos I ate him.

I've been away for a few days camping. Camping is lots of fun. You get to live outside and play with your ball pretty much all day. Then at night you wear pyjamas (well, my Equafleece) and get to sleep with your humans. We did some great walks and cooked some tasty things down on the floor which was interesting. Annoyingly we forgot the camera so I can't show you any pics :-( I was very well behaved - there were quite a lot of dogs on the campsite who would woof whenever you went near them but I didn't do that.

In other news I'm now eating a raw food diet which I LOVE. Mum found a great shop near us that sells all the stuff and has given us good advice about what to eat. I'm sure my coat is glowing more than ever already. Actually I'm moulting a bit at the mo - are any of the rest of you moulting?

So pleased that you are having proper food. Its good isn't it :) What kinda advise has this shop given you? They sound very good.

Was the spider yummy? I tend to prefer insects of the flying kind at them moment although mum keeps telling me some are dangerous. They can't be that dangerous being that small and pretty (i like the black and yellow buzzy ones best!)

We have lavender outside the front door which is full of fun buzzy things that I keep getting told off about if I go too near :-(

The shop has been very good and told me to start off with just chicken so that my guts get used to it. I'm so happy with my chicken I think I could eat it forever but apparently there are lots more yummy things in the freezer. I was very interested in a lady who had just bought 13kg of tripe. They do whole rabbits and marrowbones and venison and LOADS more. Apparently next week I can try some lamb bones :-)

Sounds brilliant. You wait until you get a taste for tripe it is deeeeeeeeeelicious but my mum has just told me to warn your mum that it doesn't half stink. But tell her not to worry it will be gone in ten seconds flat (if that!). I have never had whole rabbit because there is nowhere near me that is anything like your shop.

You will love lamb, and marrowbones are brill.

Helo Charlie,
I have been trying to get hold of a whole rabbit all day with no luck.
They were too quick for me.
That must be what they call fast food.
With Rosie and Dylan I did get a whole hare once but we did not eat it.
We just stood in a circle pointing at it and barking.
My friend Jake had lots of those yellow and black buzzy things in his coat recently,he said it was not very nice.

Did the hare get away? Must have been top fun to chase that!

Hello Charlie,
we caught the hare but did not kill it,there is a picture of it in my blog under "Crazy Horses.Waaaa!Waaaa!" (Anthony says he will complete that entry when he gets time).
Anthony did not know if the hare was injured or just worn out so he left it there and took us away.If he had a gun I think he might have had it for dinner.

COOOL. You should eat it next time. Or get that bird to catch it for you. Very cool. I want to be like you Diesel when I grow up.

Hello Charlie,
Anthony says you made me blush.
But he won't tell me what that means.
How big are you now Charlie?
You must be about the same age I was when I went to live with Anthony.

I'm 11 months next Sunday! I'm supposed to be nearly full grown but a couple of people who haven't seen me for a while have commented how much bigger I am. I'm a bit leaner now I'm on my raw foods diet and mum says I'm starting to look like a real grown up Viz!

raw food....yumm! shame radio can't have it because i think its the best.

Hello Charlie,Radio,
Diesel was 29.7kg (in "French Imperial measurements") when he was your age Charlie.
He was weighed at 32kg at the vets today but he is still not as big as a cliff.
He thinks raw meat is very nice,he gets it with a garlic clove mixed in now and sometimes vegetables too.
Are you not allowed raw meat for medical reasons Radio?
Good luck with the sheep and watch out for tics!

Anthony (Diesel is away).
