Ah little charlie. You are growing up fast. Humans. No understanding them. You bring presents and they seem not to be grateful.
We loved the look of your gift. What was it ? A lobster? A crab? No we think it was probably a perennial plant. Something rare and tender and irreplacable? Are we right ?( we are rather good at pub quiz nights)
Mum says I'm very lucky that we have only lived here a short time and that the garden is the last thing to be 'done up' - she's not sure what it is.
She does have photographic evidence of the garden last summer though. I think i'm just going to have to watch and wait. Large gaps where beautiful flowers once were will not go down well. Ooops.
Why not mum? It's great! I dug it up in the garden and everything. Humans are sooooo boring sometimes :-(
